CWH6 A very nice Noshu Naoe Shizu wakizashi in shirasaya.

Motohaba is 1 3/16, sakihaba is 15/16, kissaki is 1 3/4", kasane is 3/16 but much thicker at the shinogi because of the narrow hi and thinner mune.

A fantastic 20 3/4" nambokucho shaped, osuriage wakizashi that was cut of a daito hundreds of years ago. This is one of those pieces with a narrow bohi that goes right out of the nakago. The hamon is a low notare with all the working of the teaching of Kaneuji of the Shizu group. The hada and hamon are great to look at as they are full of chikei in all the shapes and hataraki that is found in the teachings of the Soshu Masamune school. The blade is in shirasaya with an old solid silver habaki. Has a NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificate with a Tanzan sayagaki.
